New grinding machine SMG400HF3 delivered to customer

In February, the grinding machine SMG400HF3 was commissioned to the Mikhailovsky mining and processing combine OJSC. The equipment is designed for sharpening single-pass and multi-pass worm mills on the front surface.
Mikhailovsky mining and processing combine is one of the largest iron ore mining and processing enterprises in Russia and the CIS. Within the framework of the investment project "Mechanization and Automation of Maintenance and Repair", the enterprise announced the need to purchase high-precision equipment for worm mills sharpening. Extremely worn out tool-grinding machines placed in the machine-assembly department needed a replacement. STANEXIM offered modern equipment that met all the stated Customer requirements. 

The SMG400 HF3 machine processes cutters with a diameter of 50 ... 400 mm and a module of up to 40. Fanuc CNC system is installed on the machine. Special software allows to measure automatically the cutter before sharpening to build the optimal program for its processing, as well as after sharpening to obtain a passport for the processed tool.

The machine delivery took place on a representative part with module 30. The achieved accuracy indicators exceeded those required by the customer technical task . 

The acquisition of the SMG400HF3 allowed significantly improve the quality of the sharpened tool.
