STANEXIM supplied a self-produced gear grinding machine SMG405GF3 to the Belarusian-Russian University as part of the Union State project "Development of educational and scientific activities of the Belarusian-Russian University based on innovative technologies". The aim of the project is to improve the quality of training of engineers and the effectiveness of scientific research.
The machine is designed for profile grinding of spur and helical gears. SMG405GF3 is equipped with SIEMENS CNC SINUMERIK 840 D sl . This CNC system provides the convenience and flexibilityprogramming, the optimal display of processes and diagnostics, and the smooth operation of the machine.
SMG405GF3 machine is designed in a new modification specially for educational purposes,. The function of the dynamic balancing system for the grinding wheel is transferred from automatic to semi-automatic. This will allow students to identify the imbalance and manually eliminate it in practice.
The equipment will be used for research purposes and in the educational process of the department "Engineering Technology". The machine of STANEXIM will be a good addition to equipping the department along with such manufacturers as Festo, Fanuc, Carl Zeiss, Siemens, Omron, Mitutoyo, etc.
